Fire
Requirements
Must go to Arizona State Fire Schools basic class within 2 years or have firefighter 1 & 2 certification.
Must be able to make all trainings and 25% of Fire calls.
EMS
Requirements
EMT, Paramedic, or Prehospital certification required.
Must be able to make all trainings and 25% of EMS calls.
Both Additional Requirements
Must be between 18 and 60 years old.
Must live in the Town of Pima or The Pima Rural Fire District Boundaries.
Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
Must agree to the Bylaws & constitution of the department.
Clothing allowance will be paid quarterly ($15 per call, training, meeting attended).
You Pay $30.00 per quarter for dues from clothing allowance.
(1) year probationary period.
Participates in Relief & Pension Fund by Contributing 5% of gross quarterly with Town of Pima matching amount.

How to Apply.
(1) Please bring a letter of interest with application.
(2) Print and fill out an application. If you can’t print one out, we will have one for you.
(3) Bring both your letter of interest and application to a Tuesday meeting or training night at 6:00 pm (1800hrs).
