Requirements

Both-

• Must be between 18 and 60 years old.

• Must live in the Town of Pima or The Pima Rural Fire District Boundaries.

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.

• Must agree to the Bylaws & constriction of the department.

Firefighter-

• Must go to Basic Arizona State Fire School class within 2 years or have firefighter 1 & 2 certification.

• Must be able to make all trainings and 25% of Fire calls.

EMS Reserve-

• EMT, Paramedic, or Prehospital certification required.

• Must be able to make all trainings and 25% of EMS calls.

Additional

Both-

• $15 Per call, training, meeting attended.

• Pays $30.00 per quarter for dues.

• (1) year Probationary period.

• Participates in Relief & Pension Fund by Contributing 5% of gross salary with Town of Pima matching amount.

Prior to joining, we welcome and encourage you to attend meetings and practices to observe.

Fill out a application and bring to a Tuesday meeting or training night at 6:00 pm (1800hrs). If you can’t print one out, we will have one for you.
